DAY OF REST AND OBSERVATION

Class Descriptions

Bhakti Flow

Move with devotion. Breathe with intention. Practice from the heart. Bhakti Flow Yoga blends fluid movement, breath, music, and mantra into a practice that is both energizing and deeply soulful. Each class weaves together flowing sequences with moments of chanting, reflection, and stillness, inviting you to move beyond the physical and into a more heart-centered experience. This is yoga as moving meditation, a space to soften the mind, open the chest, and reconnect with gratitude and joy. The emphasis presence, expression, and sincerity in your practice.

Deep Stretch Yoga

A class to slow down, open gently and give your body time to release. Deep Stretch Yoga is a slow, floor-based practice focused on long, supported holds that target the hips, spine, shoulders, and connective tissue. Each posture is designed to soften tension, improve mobility, and restore balance without forcing or straining. This class emphasizes patience over performance. With the support of breath and heat, your body has space to unwind layers of tightness that build from daily stress, sitting, travel, and repetitive movement. The result is a practice that feels grounding, nourishing, and deeply restorative. This class is perfect for dancers and martial artist looking to advance their hip and shoulder flexibility. It is also a wonderful way to wind down after a long day of activity.

About Infrared Heated Pilates & Yoga

Our infrared-heated classes combine the precision of Pilates and the traditional movement of yoga with gentle, radiant heat that penetrates your muscles and joints (usually ~95–105Β°F / 35–40Β°C). Unlike traditional heated rooms, infrared warmth reaches deeper tissue, helping you move more freely, safely, and mindfully. The experience feels different from a regular heated room β€” the warmth penetrates the body more directly instead of just heating the air. Many students describe it as β€œwarming from the inside out."

Some of the benefits Include:

πŸ”₯ Deeper muscle warm-up: Infrared heat raises tissue temperature faster than ambient heat. Muscles loosen more quickly, creating less stiffness at the start of class. It encourages smoother transitions between movements and a reduced risk of strain when stretching. For Pilates especially, warm muscles allow better engagement of small stabilizers without fighting tightness. For yoga, it can help students access range of motion gradually and safely.

πŸ’§ Increased circulation: Infrared heat stimulates blood flow. Better circulation can support oxygen delivery to muscles creating faster recovery after workouts, reduced soreness and a feeling of β€œlightness” post-class.

🧘 Enhanced mind-body focus: The steady warmth encourages the nervous system to relax. Making easier breath awareness, faster mental quiet, deeper relaxation during holds and improved body awareness. The heat acts almost like a sensory cocoon that reduces distraction.

πŸ’¦ Sweating and detox perception: Infrared classes promote a strong sweat response. Overall, the heat supports natural cooling mechanisms, promoting skin circulation and radiance. Heat will reduce joint stiffness and improve tissue elasticity.

❀️ Cardiovascular boost: Infrared heat slightly elevates heart rate even during low-impact movement. Encouraging gentle cardiovascular conditioning and increased calorie expenditure. The heat will created improved endurance over time. Pilates + heat = strength training with a light cardio layer.

🌿 Stress relief: The environment encourages nervous system regulation. Causing better sleep after class and reduced anxiety. It functions almost like movement + sauna + meditation combined.
